Heron Foods is a family owned food retailer based in the East Riding of Yorkshire dedicated to bringing customers the very best value in frozen, chilled and grocery products. The company has seen turnover increase to £250m and like-for-like sales grow by more than four per cent in the last year. The Grocer magazine ranked Heron Foods twelfth by turnover in the top fifty independent grocery retailers (The Grocer, 13 March 2015).

Heron Foods needed to revise and improve their in-store customer experience and store portfolio so came to us to help redesign point of sale and signage. Our solution to colour code and signpost key sales areas throughout the store was vital to improving sales and encouraging customers to ‘journey’ through the store.

We have gone on to design the company’s commercial website, produce new vehicle livery and create digital, promotional and marketing initiatives. We also manage the social media presence on Facebook and Twitter for this upwardly mobile organisation.
